PANDAN CHIFFON CAKE

2ND TRIAL SUCCESS
Assalamualaikum...
Alhamdullilah kali kedua mencuba chiffon kek menjadi...
Hari ni sempena Hari Pekerja Tie Hadiahkan chiffon kek untuk tetamu rosywhitekitchen.
Sebenarnya ada kawan sekerja Tie request nak kek yang gebu2 gitu,,,Tie pun mencuba kek chiffon. Kali pertama kek ni shrink kerana lupa nak terbalikkan selepas keluar dari oven.

 Jom kita share resipi ya..Resipi ni Tie olah dari Joy Of Baking Orange Chiffon Cake
6 large eggs + 1 additional egg white(30gm)
225gm sifted cake flour
1tbsp baking powder
300gm caster sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 pandan paste
a few drops green coloring
180ml santan/coconut milk
120 ml sunflower oil
1 tsp vanila extract
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Method
Separate the eggs. Preheat oven 165C. ungreased tube/angel pan. Add flour, sugar minus 50 gm(reserved for egg whites). Baking powder, salt. Beat until combined.
Make a well in the center add egg yolk,oil, coconut milk, pandan , vanilla.Beat until smooth.
In a separate bowl whisk egg whites until foamy.
Add cream of tartar and gradually add 50gm sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into batter.
Pour batter into ungreased tube pan and bake for 60min.
